Blueprint Company Feature Roadmap
Design pillars already shipping in testing, plus the platform plans still ahead.
Blueprint’s roadmap is easier to understand if you separate design pillars (unlikely to flip) from feature drops (arrive in testing builds) and platform plans (PC now, mobile later). This page is a Blueprint Company wiki summary for Roblox builders who want orientation—not a binding studio contract.
Always cross-check Discord (https://discord.gg/U8f3Tynr99) and Carrd before making plans around a specific week.
Design pillars (stable intent)
- Free building: no money system, no gamepass paywalls for core tools
- Blank-plot architecture: hub → private plot server; no prebuilt town/jobs loop
- Large canvas: 1024×1024 stud plots
- Permission-based multiplayer: visibility and build rights are separate knobs
- Creative power first: advanced move/transform, multi-select groups, free item scaling, landscaping, decals
These pillars explain why the Codes hub is empty and why Blueprint vs Bloxburg is a popular comparison page.
Systems already emphasized in testing content
Community and developer showcases have highlighted:
- Wall, floor, and roof toolchains with fine grids
- Multiple roof styles: hip, gable, pyramid, plus hollow variants and skylight-friendly shapes
- Basements and multi-level builds (up to roughly 16 floors + basement)
- Swimable pools with depth, color, transparency, and wave controls
- Multi-select → custom saved groups
- Advanced placement / transform on items
- Free item scaling on most objects (doors/windows keep dedicated systems) — deep dive: Scaling & Transform
- Landscaping hills, rocks, and outdoor softscape (often scalable) — deep dive: Landscaping
- Decal and painting workflows using Roblox asset IDs (including large tracing decals) — deep dive: Furniture & Decals
- Soft / realistic lighting options and plot metadata: tags, descriptions, cover images, profile-style presentation, leaderboards for likes/visits/playtime/items

Explicit creative-power bullets to practice
- Free item scaling — monumental props and kitbashed furniture without paywalls (Scaling & Transform)
- Landscaping hills / rocks — break flat 1024 pads and frame architecture (Landscaping)
- Pyramid / hollow roofs — dramatic lofts and skyline cuts (Roofs, Floors & Pools)
- Decals / paintings — preset art plus TOS-safe Roblox asset IDs (Furniture & Decals)
Platform roadmap
| Stage | Intent |
|---|---|
| Now | Private PC testing |
| Next | Public testing waves via Discord — apps open when a wave/release starts, not before (Public Testing) |
| Later | Mobile (and broader device) support after PC feature depth |
| Ongoing | Furniture catalog growth, UI polish, bug fixing, community tools |
Riley has been explicit that mobile comes after PC has most features. If you only own a phone today, follow Public Testing but do not expect parity day one.
What is intentionally not on the roadmap
Based on public statements:
- No paywalled build tools
- No mandatory jobs/money grind to unlock walls
- No pre-made city you must live inside—plots stay blank slates you author
Roleplay can still happen; it is optional social layering on top of architecture, not the progression spine.
How builders should use this roadmap
- Build skills against pillars that will not vanish (grid discipline, massing, lighting).
- Treat new tools as multipliers, not prerequisites—practice shells before pool showpieces.
- File bugs against the tool you actually used; roadmap pages do not replace bug docs.
- Watch furniture modeling applications on Discord if you want to contribute assets.
- Re-read this page after each major announcement so tier-list opinions stay honest.

The roadmap’s real message is simple: Blueprint is trying to be the free architecture sandbox Roblox builders keep asking for. Features will keep arriving; the free pillar is the north star.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Is the roadmap an official dated schedule?
No. It summarizes public design intent and shipped testing themes. Exact weeks can shift because Blueprint is largely solo-developed.
Will gamepasses appear later?
Riley has repeatedly said the project will stay free without gamepass paywalls for building. Treat paid-access offers as scams.
When is mobile coming?
After PC has most features. Early testing prioritizes PC.
Where do I suggest features?
Use the suggestion forms linked from Carrd and Discord suggestion channels.
Where should I practice systems listed here?
Use Building Basics, Roofs Floors & Pools, Scaling & Transform, Landscaping, Furniture & Decals, Controls, and the build glossary on this wiki.
